This Somerton Park kitchen was opened up to the dining area by removing a load-bearing wall, creating one connected space for cooking, gathering and everyday living.

At its centre is a new waterfall-end island with a VJ timber panel end. White shaker cabinetry with brass handles sits beneath the benchtops, with a handmade-look tile splashback, an integrated rangehood and a pendant light over the island.
